Next Training game designer

Choose a known, but extremely simple game, not necessarily electronic (Pong, Tic-tac-toe, Berek, Peekaboo, card game in war) and suggest a mechanic that will give more depth to the game. Describe the mechanics and its effects on the game itself.

Make sure that the game does not become much more difficult in understanding its rules.
